ThymeManagement.ca believes that while learning to cook is important, it has to be fun and entertaining as well. Lesson methods are designed to be light and fun-filled. Cooking lessons are only available on per-hour basis and are based on a 4 hour minimum. Class sizes are kept small to promote more individual attention and are priced at 2 different levels. Cooking lessons for 1-3 students are billed at $35.00 per hour, and up to 6 students at $45.00 per hour (both rates based on a 4 hour minimum).
A few days before the scheduled lesson, the host and Chef Mike will plan the topics to be covered, the supplies required and the format of the lesson. Supplies and necessary groceries are the responsibility of the host. Recipes and lesson plans are included and the results of the night's lesson can usually be consumed that night. Services are payable in full on the night of the lesson.
